Notion Experience| I have seen similar thought in the book of Sir William Hamilton’s Life.
Did the symbols we use (example: $\pi$) get their shape in a random way or from a parent with a random origin? Is there any drive behind them: easy shapes attainable from the possible conformations of the hand?  

Exploration Experience| I saw the video on the evolution of writing, in which the calligrapher used different shaped pen nibs to form different types of alphabets, this might have influenced me in seeing the evolution of common basic elemental drawings to have the form from they being the most possible (economical, easy?) conformations from our hand with the tool we have.
